I am looking into purchasing my first gaming PC and need help choosing the right one and monitor to go with it. My budget for PC alone is 800 if possible. I’m in the US. I would be playing all Sims 4 expansions, maybe Sims 3 and Sims 2, and would like it on ultra settings and run well.

@beccasimsx I found a few computers within your budget, monitor not included. (Hopefully someone else can help with that, as it's not at all a strength of mine.)
This is the cheapest model I could find that will run TS4 and TS3 on the highest settings. It has an excellent processor and an Nvidia 1050 ti, but only a mechanical hard drive (HDDs are significantly slower than solid state drives).

This one has the same processor, and an AMD 580X graphics card, which is similar to an Nvidia 1060 3 GB. It also has a 500 GB SSD, which is big enough to install both TS3 and TS4.

If you really need a lot of storage space, this one is the same price, but with an Nvidia 1060 3 GB and a 2 TB HDD.

If you wanted to stretch a bit and get an even better graphics card (Nvidia 1060 6 GB), as well as a small solid state drive in addition to the HDD, you could go with this model:

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you for your suggestions! I have a question about power supply. For example the last PC has 450W, would that be considered low? Does the power supply matter much?

These two monitors would be suitable.
The Asus has a very good reaction time and some nice features, (Pivot)
The Dell has a IPS panel, that has significant benefits over the TN panel of the Asus, (color fidelity, angle) it is also bigger (27")
Both have a refresh-rat of 75hz and AMD FreeSync, which makes them especially interesting if you choose an AMD graphics card.
NVIDIA G-Sync Monitors are normally more expensive

Yes it does, it is actually one of the most important parts of a PC.
But the sheer number of watts is not what is most important.
A 450w PSU is sufficient for this PC,
The specific model, and the number and performance data of the rails would be of interest, but this info is not easy to get at a pre built PC.
