I have been trying to install Sims 4 for a total of 23 hours up to this moment, and it is still only on 30% which is very frustrating as no other game in the history of computing has ever taken such a long time to install, not even in the days of the Spectrum 48!!!
This is totally unacceptable, as the previous Sims, 1, 2, and 3 install in a very short time. Is this because it installs the full game onto the hard drive? If so, why can't I just install the basic files and play off of the disc, as woth SIms 2 and 3?
Did your game testers actually install the game on a PC? If so, how long did it take?
Can you tell my why it is taking such a long time to install, because as it takes up most of my PC's processing power (92%), I am unable to play any other games, except Solitaire?
I am not going to waste up to 4 days of my life attempting to install one single game, I would rather go back to SIms 3 and send this useless disc back to Electronis Arts!!
