Having trouble loading Cas icons sims 4 [ Edited ]

Since I've downloaded Sims4 cats and dogs expansion pack on origin. It wont show my preview game icons in CAS, if you click on it, it will show on the character but not on the mini windows. Its mildly frustrating having to just click individual on each window to find the perfect item rather than the game actually giving previews. and im wondering if anyones had this problem. (its only doing it to the expansions, not the basegame or my CC.) please help, (example down below.)

EDIT: Ive also emailed origin about it and followed instructions still no change.
