HELP there was a error in set up please see the log for more details

I have playes sims for a while one day I got sims pets and supernatural for a good 2 weeks it worked till one day I tried to get on sims and  it says there was a error in set up please see the log for more details I got the sims on steam so I asked steam form and no one new what to do they all tried to help this is my last hope and douse it make a difference if I get sims on steam plz help fast I have bine dyeing to play sims  :crying:
