Graphics card meets system requirements, yet the game says it doesn't.

★★★ Newbie

I have been up for an hour now trying to get the game to even launch on my system.  Whenever I try to launch the program, I get an error message saying that my graphics card is incompatible, along with the error message code "0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:000000."

The trouble is, according to the System Checker on System Requirements Lab, and according to everything else, I meet every requirement needed to run the game, along with my graphics card.  I have updated every driver and by all accounts I've done everything I'm supposed to do.

I am in tears at this point because I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I just want to play my game.

Official answer as from EA ? If so, you'll need to get in touch with a game advisor. We're just users here.

Something is not good with your RAM though. It's showing that only 2 GB of your 4 are available. I would do a hardware check.

Good Luck

Trennlinie

I don't work or have any association with EA. I give advice to the best of my knowledge and cannot be held responsible for any damage done to your computer/game.
Please only contact me via PM when asked to do so.

Brief update: the game managed to launch when I set it into compatibility mode for Windows 7.  I'll keep tinkering around with it, but I really would like an official answer.  Thank you very much for any help.

Thanks for the reply, friend!  I did manage to get the game working properly, and I also fixed the RAM usage.  I don't think I'll need to contact EA (and nobody was available at the time of initial posting - 1 AM Central, wah - but I do appreciate your post all the same.  Cheers!
