Gourmet cooking skill

I watch my favorite YouTube play the sims 4 but when she clicks on gourmet cooking skill there's these two huge two layer cakes that's on there and the sim she is playing doesn't have gourmet cooking skill at all. But when I go to my sim who also dosent have any gourmet cooking skill it dosent show those two cakes that she has.

I did some more research and it seems you need the DLC for both cakes.

you probably mean the black and white and the white and black cakes. You should indeed have both from level 1 gourmet cooking.

For the white and Black cake you'll need the Up All Night DLC (Digital Deluxe Upgrade). Do you own that ?

The other should show up though. 

Are you using mods/cc in your game ?

Yes the black and white cakes are the ones I'm talking about and I do not use any cc /mods in my game I have never used them. Also I don't think I own the DLC

That explains why you don't have the one that comes with the content.

Which recopies do you have ? Are you missing any others ?

Have you tried repairing the game or sorting the list by name for example ?

Right click on the base game in Origin and choose repair game.

Will something happen to my game if I do will it restart it because I don't want to lose the sim family that I'm playing

No but backing up your save is always a good idea
