Glitch in Game

i have a glitch in my game where everything is streching like the houses and neighbourhood which means i can not play the game at all because the glitch is covering everything. my computer has just got a new hard drive so there is nothing else on my computer other than the sims. and i have only just installed the games today and the first time i go to play it i can not as there is this massive glitch!! please help me out!!!
