Game unplayable after the last update (10th June)

Before the June 10th update my game was working perfectly, no issues what so ever. After the emergency update on the 10th, my game is now unplayable.

There are lags when playing, the game completely freezes and loading screens which last indefinitely (I was waiting 20+ mins before I just gave up). I tried remove all mods and the issues still persisted, when even with mods it was working perfectly before the update.

@Leevi_Rebecca  Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.

If that doesn't help, please test a new save in a clean user data folder, for comparison.  Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  Don't add anything to the folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.

If the game still lags, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
