Game keeps crashing

So I just downloaded the sims onto my literally brand new computer and everytime I try to even touch the sims to edit it the whole game crashes. The game doesn’t quit though it just freezes for a really long time and my mouse disappears so I don’t have the ability to even quite the game and I’m forced to manually restart my computer every time. It’s really frustrating because the whole reason I downloaded it onto my new computer was because I was forced to download legacy edition on my old computer which made the game 100x worse and now I don’t know what to do.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post

Did you move over any user files (Saves, mods, .. ) from your old computer ?
