Game is not loading (pc)

When I press the load game button the game continues to the loading screen but it never fully loads. I don't know what i should do since I cant play in any of the worlds. I have tried restarting the computer, but nothing helped. I have just downloaded the newest version, and since then the problem has started to occur.

@patisos  Please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  Launch the game, try to start a new save, place a sim in a house, save, quit, launch Sims 4 again, and see whether you can load the save you just created.  Let me know whether it works.
