Game has installed but there is an error saying video card is not suitable???

i've installed the game from a disk but when i click play an error pops up which says that my video card is not suitable for the game or that i sould update my drivers, however i went on a website which told me that i have the minimum requirements for the game to work on my laptop and all drivers are up to date.
