Game gets stuck after returning from build/buy to live mode

Which language are you playing the game in? Nederlands
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to work, get together, city living, cats and dogs, spa day, parenthood, vintage glamour, bowling stuff, movie, laundry day
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into buy mode and back to live mode
What happens when the bug occurs? Game is stuck for about a minute
What do you expect to see? Game continues normally
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Try repairing your game and try a new save for testing if you have the same issue.

If neither works, could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
