Game flickers with 240hz and G-Sync turned on

I've noticed my game is having some slight brightness flicker with G Sync turned on while playing. When i turn off G Sync everything works fine. Or i could play with 60hz and G Sync and it would also work, but if i have to do that i could rather just turn G sync off and keep play with 240hz as i of course prefer the smoothness with that. 

I have the latest Nvidia drivers and i have done a full clean install with DDU.

Specs: GTx 970, I7 4790k, 16gb ram.

Should be noted i seem to only have issues with The Sims 4.
