Game crashing when placing object in build mode?

Please help! I've noticed that when placing CC in build mode, certain objects will cause the game to freeze and then shut down. The objects have worked fine in other people's games. I've deleted my cache files. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Reinstalling is not an option. The game is terrible without cc, so I refuse to delete that as well. I also have plenty of RAM. Please do not comment these suggestions as they are frequently cop-outs for not knowing the real solution. Thanks!
