July 2018
Hey, yesterday I wanted to play the Sims 4 again so updated it and spent some hours in CAS without any problems. I then went on with making the home of the sims I created and that's when the game started to crash. Since then, whenever I restart it and play live mode or build mode the game crashes randomly after a few minutes. I removed my mods and CC but that didn't help. I repaired the game in the origin client which didn't help. I did also reset the game to factory settings by creating a backup of the Sims 4 folder, but it still crashes.
I have the Get Together, City Living, Seasons and Cats and Dogs expansion packs.

HI @JojoMari1812
please try updating your graphics drivers. Yours are from 2012
Also your c drive is getting a bit low in space. You might wanna move some files.
Which drive do you have the game/the doc folder on ?
Good Luck

Hey, I just updated the graphics drivers and restarted the game but it crashed again.
I have the game on the d drive which still has 430 GB free space.

Do you have your documents folder on d as well or just the game itself ?
Windows needs free space on the c drive so if you can, I would try freeing up some space.
Good Luck

The documents folder is on the c drive. I just freed about 12 GB space on the c drive is that enough?

Since you have Win 7, there's no errors showing up in DxDiag.
Can you check if you have any critical events: https://crinrict.com/blog/2014/09/critical-events.html ?

that's pretty inconclusive, unfortunately.
You said you deleted your mods/cc. Did you also delete your cache files ? https://sims4.crinrict.com/en/2014/09/delete-cache-files/
Have you tried renaming the entire user folder and starting a new save for testing purposes ?
Good Luck
