Game crashes after 5 minutes of gameplay

★ Novice

I'm on a brand new gaming PC with all the requirements to be playing the game, but it just crashes after 5 minutes with no pop-up or anything, it just closes and takes me back to the desktop. My graphics card is NVIDIA GTX 1050 so it's definitely capable of running. I've wiped all saved games, disabled all custom content and mods, changed to using origin in offline mode, deleted last.crash.txt and last.exception.txt and it's still not working. Any ideas?

@24hours52weeks  The FX 4300 cpu was released in 2012 so it is not a "new" cpu chip. AMD now makes the Ryzen cpu chip which supports DDR 4 memory. That said your computer should play this game. I see some update failures which could be causing issues. I don't see any storage information that is usually included in the dxdiag right after usb information. For some reason I have seen this omission before and is important to know this. There may be an issue because I see an error with the dxdig acquiring information and this could be tied to the update failures. You could display this information manually - size of storage device(s) and free space.

My dad said that it could be possibly trying to use the old hard drive he's using with the computer in addition to the one it came with? He took it out our old PC and used it in the new one, and it's pretty old so it might be causing problems.
Surprisingly, I turned laptop mode on and the game lasted longer than it usually does (about half an hour before crashing) so I'm beginning to think that there's an issue with the computer and not the game; this computer really shouldn't need laptop mode.

@24hours52weeks When I replace a drive I may put the old drive in the new system so that is not very unusual but most consumers don't do that.. If the drives are old PATA drives there is a jumper to configure the drives and may be set wrong. If one is SATA and one is PATA the BIOS may not like that and I would not recommend this configuration. Looking through the dxdiag I'm seeing audio drivers from 2015 and it looks like the drivers are the default driver from a Windows install. These should be drivers that match the the chips on the motherboard. Tried to look up the specs but PC Specialist LTD shows currently out of stock and they show CyberpowerPCs - I would think they would sell their own name brand as their name appears as manufacturer. Are you booting from the old drive? I recommend removing (disconnecting) the old drive and see if that resolve the drive issue. Audio issues are rare and I would have to know the motherboard make and model to advise
