It has been hit or miss with the Sims 3 Game launcher loading/recognizing my expansion packs since the last origin update.
I kick off the launcher from Origin, and get "there are currently no expansion or stuff packs installed".
I check Origin and I says they are all installed.
I check my drive, and there they all are.
I close out the launcher.
Kick it off from Origin again. Same thing.
I close out the launcher kick it off from Origin again the the launcher has an epiphany
"New The Sims 3 Packs Detected." Wonder of wonders.
However, the login section is blank on the launcher.
Close out the launcher, kick it off again, launcher finally works as expected
Yesterday, repeat.
Today, same *.
5/25/17 update
Awesome, now they expansion packs are showing up in the launcher, but not loading when the game launches...

Hi @dcp013,
As you are having this issue with all your packs, I would recommend to completely reinstall The Sims 3. Doing this has helped other players in your same situation in the past.
Let us know if that helps, and please, don't hesitate to ask if you have any doubts on how to uninstall and install the game again

Did you buy your expansions via eBay? If so I had this same issue. Origin slowly deactivated every eBay expansion and stuff pack that I owned. This might be the cause of your issue.
You can also try putting Origin in offline mode, sometimes this helps the launcher recognize already installed content.

If origin says that you have them, then you can download them. Click read more on the expansion packs that are not working and push download.

@GiulioPel Please try clearing Origin's cache, and if that doesn't work, uninstalling Origin "the hard way" and reinstalling:

If these steps don't help, it's possible that your codes have been deactivated. This could be a mistake, but if you bought the packs from a third-party seller, you may have received bad codes. EA routinely blocks access to packs tied to bad codes, and the only way to find out if this is what's happened to you is to contact customer support.

@puzzlezaddictthank you for the reply. Is it possible that my codes will be recognized as good ones by EA in the near future? Or should I have to rebuy my expansions? Or is it possible that the customer support will give me, for free, a new code?
Thank you very much

@GiulioPel That depends on whether the codes are bad, so to speak, or mistakenly blocked. In the case of a mistake, customer support can fix the error and reinstate your codes. If you originally bought sealed disc copies of the game, and you still have the discs and the case inserts on which the codes were printed, you can provide this proof of ownership in the hopes that a support rep will unblock your packs or give you new codes.
However, if you bought your packs from an unauthorized third-party seller, it's likely that the codes have been cancelled, and there's not much hope that you can recover your packs. In that case, you'd need to contact support to get the bad codes removed from your account, and then you could buy new copies if you wanted. Origin has periodic sales for Sims 3 content, as does Steam, so it might not cost that much to replace your packs. Here's the full list of authorized sellers of EA games:
