Game Freezes for Long Periods - Sims 3 [ Edited ]

I’m having the same kind of problem except nothing moves for about 10-15 minutes ):

I have no cc or mods which really makes it harder to solve??

however I have one expansion pack and a stuff pack (late night and the luxury stuff pack) I downloaded the starter pack from origin along with the base game . I also tried to fix it in origin but nothing changed???

The lag you've described can be caused by several different issues.  To narrow things down, it would be helpful if you could provide a dxdiag for your computer.  You can attach the results to a post here by clicking the Browse button.

Please also let me know which world you're playing in, as some of them cause more problems than others.
