Game Freezes in Gallery

Are you using the UI Extensions Mod? I had a similiar issue and it was that mod. The creator is aware and update asap. Hope this is a help

I found my issue and it was not EA, but a mod I was using, so sorry to have bothered. To clarify, the UI Cheats Extension Mod was the cause of my issue. The creator is aware and planning to update the mod later today. Thanks again and sorry. As far as I can tell it is working with my other mods.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.45.62.1220
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them but my first pets stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open the game and go to new save. Open the gallery and put one of your sims households in CAS, replacing the default sim.
What happens when the bug occurs? the game loads the sims but a grey tinge appears over the CAS screen and you cannot move.
What do you expect to see? CAS working when you use the controls or when you click and drag to create the sim
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I took out my cc and mods and the game couldn't even load CAS, it showed a blank white screen that apparently you could "click" around when the mouse moved over what would be the sim in place.

I've seen most of the sims households on the "popular now" gallery tab have cc. The cc is listed in the description clearly but its not marked as modded, as a result their creations are seen by alot more people. Any way to mark households with minor cc like poses as "non modded"?

Yep its an official bug. But if you exit out of the sims it will appear in the gallery all of a sudden. It seems to happen less if you save upload it directly to the gallery instead of just your library.

 Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
