Gallery Issues

Hiya,

Since the new patch early June I have not been able to use the gallery. I have big red crosses through every picture and cannot see my own things either at times. I have tried repairing the game; even tried to use a new Tray folder, taken MODS out etc. Please help!

Have you moved your mods folder to the desktop? It looks for me as an outdated UIC mod,
If nothing helps move the entire TS4 folder from Documents to the desktop then fix the game in Origin
Origin/ My games library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Launch the game and the new game folder will be created.
Check if you have still this problem in the newly created game folder.
If the problem disappeared:
Delete in the new game folder following folders:
"saves" and Tray.
Next, go to "The Sims 4" old folder and copy - your "saves " folder. Paste this folder in a newly created game folder.
Do the same with Tray folder and TrayDeleteItems file if you have this file in the old folder on the desktop
Check if there are newly updated version mods you are using.
Then copy and paste your mods and CC from the old mods folder to the new one. First copy the scripts mods every time checking if the game is working properly. If you have a lot of CC try 50/50 method ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)

By the way, is your system Windows 10?
