Gallery Crash

After the most recent update, I went on to the game and into the Gallery to get a new house for my Sims. I clicked on one to look at some pictures, and when I exited out, that bit disappeared, but the darkened background stayed and I couldn't access anything anymore. I had to restard my PC, and it's happened three times now. I basically can't use the Gallery anymore. Any idea on how to fix it?

This is usually caused by out of date Mods/CC. For instance is an older version of UI Cheats Extension known to cause this. So update your Mods and CC.
