Future portal not appearing, HELP!?

I have the "Into The Future" expansion pack installed succesfully as I can buy all the futuristic looking furnature. However the Time Portal doesn't appear anywhere on the map, and especially not on my lot. I also read in many forums that you can buy the portal in the Buy/Build mode, but I can't find it there either. 
Can it be that some maps are just not working with the Into The Future expansion? Or is there just not enough space in my lot for the portal to spawn?
P.S. My sim lives in Twinbrook, and his address is...

if there is not enough room on the lot then the portal should appear in the world your playing in somehwhere that does have enough room and yes you are correct it should be in buy mode try the transport section or use th einto the future collection folder to find it, see image as to what to look for
