Hey!
I had to reinstall my game (using a full new laptop), Origin did it for me.
But it does not launch. Even the launcher does not start up.
I have Win10
I tried to contact the Technical Support, I opened a case 2 days ago, they solved WITHOUT any answer..... It is very weird and I opened a new one, but I lost my faith.
I hope, somebody can help me. Thanks!

I have uninstalled the game, and installed only the base game, launched - worked.
Then I installed the expansions and stuffs, and I could launch after.

@szdorka Sims 3 requires .net framework 3.5 If you have Windows 10 you need to go to control panel - programs and features - turn windows features on and off - enable .net framework 3.5. The download version of .net framework will NOT work for Windows 10.

I had to do a fresh install too. But what's weird is it worked for like a week, and now I have the same problem as you. Did you ever find a fix that actually works??

@szdorka For some reason there is no version number. Are you installing from disc?
