Yours is a bit odd. Just going into build mode, then going down to the basement with the view (on your current lot) and back up seems to solve the issue.

I haven't tested all lots though or played your game. So it might reoccur.

i tried converting a lot into residential and after adding a household the game wouldnt let me build or anything always kicking me back to map. im reinstalling now, this problem seemed to occur after installing spa day

I tried a few of your saves and all load fine. Is it a special action that causes the issue ? Or am I checking the wrong file ? Which one is bugged for you ?

Are you using any mods and have you tried removing them ?

Assuming we're talking about the French Family save game here.

For your game it also seems to work to do the following

1. Close your game
2. Start your game and load the faulty save
3. Go on Buy/build mode on the current lot
4. Use up to go all the way up and down to go all the way to the second level basement
5. Go back to map view
6. Load the family
7. Save the game under a new name
8. You should be good to go. Haven't tested all the lost or play tested past loading the family.

Seems the pregnant Sim in the family is causing it.

Only solution for those is to upload to the library and replace that way.
