[ISSUE] Game Data Incomplete

Did you try repairing the expansion pack as suggested on the first page ?

After the Origin update from June 2nd (version 9.5.20.5318 - 372166) I have the same problem. I have repaired the base game and all expansions and still I get this message "Game data incomplete'.
I did see that Magnolia Promenade is missing. I haven't checked other items ingame. I closed the game without saving. What else can I do?

Try going here: programs(x86)\Origin_Games\thesims4 (path may vary depending on your installation) and find a folder called EP01 (not sure where it is on top of my head).

Move the folder to the desktop. Then open Origin and reinstall the Expansion pack. 

Then try again

I moved EP01 to my desktop en then reinstalled EP01 through Origin.

Started a new game but it didn't work. Magnolia Promenade is still missing!

Problem isn't solved!

How can an update from Origin cause these kind of problems?

I have no CC or mods in my game and everything worked fine until the latest Origin update.

What else can I do?

Also if you start a new game or just on an existing one ?

You might need to reinstall the entire game.

Still a problem when I start a new game! Not good!

So I reinstalled the basegame and all the expansions and now it works again. -)

I updated the game then EP01 worked again.

Okay I don't normally post on topics but this one was bugging. After several tries, the one that got my data back and game working was repairing. I had to open origin, click the "i" and repair the Sims 4 base game and my GTW. Afterwards my game ran fine. I hope it doesn't happen again. Hope it works! Also check for updates

I have this same issue however it won't allow me to repair game. I right click on the packs and all they say is play... Is it because you need to be online in order to repair the game?
