My origin and sims isn't connected...How would I connect them?

The fact that you get the error message "Cannot connect to Origin" in the launcher should not prevent you from starting the game. I get that all the time when I haven't launched my Origin client and can play anyway. You usually are able to connect to your account in the next screen:

how can i Download stuff from the store/exchange without Origin? Because whenever i try it says i need to register my game, which you cant do if it's downloaded from Origin.

You need a registered game to download from the Exchange. Your public myPage doesn't show any so you either have them on another account or something went wrong.

Only a game advisor will be able to assist you with this

Exactly the same for me!!! Omg! It is so annyoying have you fixed it yet?!

• You do not have the Origin client installed on your computer
  I play other Origin Games.  Its installed and updated.
• The client installed on your computer is not up-to-date
  Updated Sims3 with Superpatch.  (also tried the Origin Repiar function but that broke the launcher so I super patched the game instead to fix the launcher)
• A program (such as an Antivirus Program) or the firewall is blocking the connection
  Antivirus and Firewall are off atm.
• Your Origin Account is not connected to your thesims3.com account
  Has been connected for YEARS!  and I checked, is still connected.
• You've changed your Email Address and now the game has troubles with certain files that store your Email address
  I have been using the SAME email address for 17 years with EA... YEP 17 YEARS
• Server Issues on EA side

Origin Repair function BREAKS LAUNCHER

Have ALL EXPANSION PACKS

All expansion packs were bought with disk.  EXCEPT ONE...

Into the Future was bought TODAY on Origin as DOWNLOAD.

Downloaded Expansion "Into the Future"  GAME BROKE.  

Error:  Cannot Connect to ORIGIN.

Pressing play button on launcher:  drops the launcher and the game does not load.

Any ideas?   Tried everything listed

• Download Origin from here: http://www.origin.com/download
• Re-Open the Origin client and make sure there aren't any updates availble
• Programs that may cause conflicts with Origin
• To make sure, you're Origin and thesims3.com account is connected go to your MyAccount on the Origin Website and check if your account is connected. They should auto-connect if you're using the same email address. Your username should show under game-specific identities if they are connected properly
• Try this if you have recently changed your email address: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Unable-to-connect-to-origin/m-p/123078#M4790
• Try starting the client and log into that and maybe even start Internet Explorer and log into your Origin account on the Origin.com. THEN start the game
• Download the beta version of Origin.  <--- WILL NOT DO THAT
