Every time I try to split up my household, it shuts my entire game down!!!!!

I have been trying to split my household upinto different households and every single time I try to split them up, it shuts my game down! Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone know anything about how to go about fixing it?

I have this problem with a family who has been visiting Granite Falls. She met someone. I putted him in a family at Willow Creek and know when she asks him to live together my game shuts down. Even when I try it with the world map, my PC shuts down.
