I get this error after the last update; "135dec40: 3fbbecd0: 00000064: 00000000" and since last night I have deleted a lot of dll files, re-install dll files, repair, refresh, delete sims 4 and reinstall. I changed languages in Origin, edited, repaired. It doesn't happen. Please help, this is very sad.

@sn_konvur

Are you on a Mac or Windows machine? macOS doesn't have an .dll files.

some people's game can be opened. mine game never open. There is nothing I haven't done. I press it to open it, the screen changes as if it will open and immediately turns off and the error code I wrote appears. Was it wrong to update? I have original game, I don't have any additional package. people say cc and mod, not sure but it can be anythink, i hhave "The Sims™ 4 Holiday Celebration Pack", I don't know what they are either.

@sn_konvur  Please try the steps in this post:

https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2014/09/unable-to-start-initialization-error-at-startup/

Start by adjusting the Controlled Folder Access settings, and if that doesn't help, set exceptions for Origin.exe and TS4_x64.exe in your antivirus software.  Then try the other suggestions.

@yapboz first, ty anyway. Whatever I do, I couldn't fix it. I think I'm giving up now. I deleted and reinstalled my game 2 more times, did everything I knew / saw / thought. It is impossible not to work on this computer. The update ruined everything, I'm so sorry!

Re: Error code

@sn_konvur  If you're still interested in trying, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I already added game to the Controlled Folder Access, and tried with the Language Strings, also i tried with the "repair game" thing, all of my drivers are up to date  yet it still isnt working. im so dissapointed... can someone help me?

Sims 4 Initialization error 135dec40:3fbbecd0:00000064:00000000

Hello, yesterday I wanted to start playing the Sims 4 again after being busy for a few months. I just got the new Snowy Escape expansion pack and downloaded the latest patch. When trying to start the game I get this popup though:

Unable to start

Initialization error on startup

[135dec40:3fbbecd0:00000064:00000000]

I already tried everything I could find on the internet to try and fix it, but sadly nothing worked.
I tried:

  • fully uninstalling Origin, using CCleaner, install it again
  • clean boot
  • uninstalling and installing the Sims again
  • renaming the Sims 4 folder
  • clearing Origin's cache
  • making sure Origin and Sims 4 are on the same drive
  • updating my drivers
  • disabling windows defender

Most likely missed something on that list, but those are the most important things I tried.
