Hello everyone,

Please can someone help me? 

I am trying to load Sims 4 but each time I keep getting this error -

Unable to start
0e6bd1221:1df4e8dc:80010000:00000000

I have recently cleared the cache for Origin as the "play" functionality was greyed out in Origin and would not load the game.

I have updated my NVidia Graphic's Card.

I have disabled Origin in game.

Still having problems. 

Seems to have occurred since a recent Windows Update? I did an update yesterday and it messed up my Work From Home VPN as well (had to re-install it).

Any ideas?

Hello,

Yes we always run it via Nvidia. I got my Husband to take a look and it seems that the Nvidia drivers had another update yesterday which appears to have fixed the problem.

I've looked up your error, found this:
Can't run The Sims 4 with the video card in this system. Please check that the video card meets the minimum specifications and that the latest video drivers are installed

Could it be the same error?
The person having this error had to restart the computer to make it disappear.

Since you seem to have both an Intel and a Nvidia, did you make sure the game runs on the card ?

Ola pessoal quero ajudar vcs com The Sims 4 no windows 10 ,
paro o Erro [0e6d1221:1df4e8dc:00000000], bom isso acontece
para quem tem monitores WideScreen entao o jogo nao reconhece
esse tipo de resoluçao, não é problema na placa de video,
o que fazer entao ?

Para Windows 10 eu descobri uma soluçao simples, nem precisa
instalar nada, vamos ao passo a passo : va na pasta do jogo e
e selecione o arquivo do jogo conforme o sistema do Windows,
exemplo se é Windows 32 bits(TS4.exe) ou 64 bits(TS4_x64.exe),
depois com botao direito do mouse va em propriedades, depois em
compatibilidade e depois marque a caixinha da Opção : Desabilitar
otimizaçoes da tela inteira e click em aplicar, pronto agora é
so inciciar o jogo, dentro do jogo vá em: opçoes do jogo e coloque
a resoluçao do seu Monitor, e o grafico vai ficar perfeito,
lembrando que depois pode desmarcar a caixinha lá...Vlws
