Error 102 Help

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Choosing any household and trying to play.
What happens when the bug occurs? Whenever I pick any of my households and try to play them.
What do you expect to see? To be able to play without this error popping up.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes

I've been trying to fix it the entire day. Since the April update, I haven't been able to play properly. I can go into CAS and edited my households, but I can't choose a household to actually play. Whenever I do, I get the Error 102. Also, my pets in the households disappear whenever I exit and reenter the game. I've tried to repair it, make a new sims 4 file by taking out the old one and starting the game up, i've tried to take out the mods that were on the broken mods list. the CCs i have are mainly just clothes, body, furniture, and etc. but those work in CAS. I really need help. I thought it was ' fault but i took it out and it wasn't the issue so please help !

Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

If you still have issues without any mods put back, please post a picture or the full error number your seeing.
