Don't know who is sending me mail- Sims 3 [ Edited ]

I'm having a problem with my mail. Not seeing anyone having the same issue. I can use my mailbox, the flag is up. My sim does not get reset. When I collect my mail I don't get any notification in the upper right saying who its from or what it contains. If I get mail from someone containing a gift, I get the item in my family inventory but I have no idea who it came from. I've used different expansions, reset the game, new family, new town, new house. Nothing works. Happening every time.

From what you are telling us, it could be some kind of mod incompatibility issue. Are you using any mods in your game? If so, please, remove them completely and try again.

Any luck getting the notification now?
