Disappearing furniture in the Sims

Hi!

I have all the Sims Expansions Packs, Game Packs and Stuff Packs. I threw a House Party to celebrate Winterfest. And noticed my counters, appliances, books, tables, chairs and other things just disappearing. I've had to re-purchase all these items in my game. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm not living in an apartment. I'm in a house. I don't use any mods or custom content.

Any ideas?

@MissQuinnzell I think that Eco Lifestyle can sometimes let townies take things from your household. If you have the "Sharing is caring" ordinance on townies can take things from you.

OMG THAT MUST BE IT. I have that, and I did notice a lady in my house pick up my decoration and then it diapered. OMG!
