Disappearing family ties

Hello everyone! I suddenly got an issue I've never had before, my family ties have all disappeared after I got back from China.

My whole family are now just "friends". This also includes family members who have left the household. For example an adult brother moved out and is married with children. I can go to the family tree and find the brother (for some reason)....it says that he is married but the wife has kids separately from him even though they are his kids. Please Help. Thank You!!

That's a bug that can happen with travelling.

I'm afraid, I don't have a solution that does not involve a mod/hack to this one.
