Differences of sims 3 refresh base game and sims 3 old base game [ Edited ]

 I had sims 3 refresh on my origin id .It was causing me problem so I requested an ea advisor to replace sims 3 refresh  base game with sims 3 old base game.He replaced the copy of base game with older .What are differnces of sims 3 old base game and sims 3 refresh base game in origin library. I mean how do I find sims 3 old base game in my games .However its sku version shows its old.But I am still confused  about which one is sims 3 old base game cover in origin library.

BUT IMO since Origin layout of the game has been updated my assumption is everyone's cover looks like the one guide sandarcher posted the second image in the link V2

I'm not sure I understand you, but I'll try my best to answer your question. 

I don't know what you mean by the "refresh base game" - the base game is the base game. The only thing that has changed at all with regards to the base game is that before September 2012, you didn't need to have Origin in order to run the game. Now you do.

I originally had  the base game version which was released after September 2012 but Then I requested an ea advisior to replace this version with before September 2012 released version and he did it but I don't know if it is old version or not because I don't know how old one s cover looked like. refresh base game is the version released after 2012.Did you get it.

My game s cover art match with before September 2012 s edition s cover number 2  as mentioned  onhttp://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2014/02/sims-3-base-g​ame-versions.html .so that means my

game is old version of sims 3 base game .Am I correct ?
