Demo Families Sims 4 not on Library in Game

Hi everyone! Just bought the new Sims 4 which is fantastic, unfortunately i am unable to access the families i made in the CAS Demo when i play the actual game. None of them show up on my Sims 4 gallery, even though they are still on the gallery when i open the demo. Is this a glitch, or am i missing something? Is there a special set of procedures to transfer my sims to my Sims 4 gallery? thanks!

I go to CAS and add sim or family to community gallery. The I go to Sims4, find them in community gallery and can add them to my own library.
