This game does not play well on Intel cards though I believe your card is one of the accepted intel cards. It may be ok on earlier EP's but not pets??? Pets is one of the more demanding EP's.  You havent updated your video card since 2009. Try updating your video card and see if that helps.

Just as I thought! Why EA decided that certain cards were no longer accepted!!??? Not fair to players to just switch and tell them card was acceptable and now it's not. I hope they will not do this on TS4

So it was my graphic card? Well I think i'll buy a new one. What's a good one that works with all sims3 games?

Also I had updatet it, not so long ago and according to the intel website they're no newer updates?

The popping back to my desktop is solved, I found the program that made it go back. It was something for my wifi.

If you adopted the dog as a puppy, then tried to change something about it in the create a sim mode (which you have to do with a cheat) then the dog will look very deformed in the face area. What you have to do is go to the create a sim, then turn it into an adult then it should not look so weird, but it doesn't always work. I currently have a dog that I adopted as a puppy then changed something about in create a sim, it looked weird so I changed it into an adult. It looked OK at first, but when I went back into the game it was an adult when it was interacteing with someone or something, but if it wasn't doing anything, it morfed into a puppy...

If you have a desktop not laptop you can change the card. On laptops you cant change video cards. You need to ask someone local near you who is computer savy what cards you can put in your computer. The better the card the more expensive the card. You can google -- Mod The Sims 3 system requirements . On that web will give you video cards that will work with the game and ones that dont.
