Default Skin Won't Work after October Update

Hello, after the October 2020 update, I went into my sims game and saw that my default skin replacement wasn't appearing in CAS or in-game. When I checked my mods folder it said it was still there though. I spent two hours trying to fix it, I got rid of any broken mods, repaired my game in origin, redownloaded a number of different skins. And nothing seems to work. How can I get my default skin to show up in-game again?
