December Update Struggle!!!

My sims 4 game is pretty much unplayable now that I updated. I can make my sims in CAS but I can't play with them in any of the worlds. They will ignore my commands and will just stand there. I had a sim starve to death because she would cancel the actions when I told her to eat. The caterer also did nothing. Is anyone else having this problem?

Are you using mods in your game ? If so, please remove them
