Dead Spot on Screen, Mouse Doesn't Work in That Area.

Good evening, I've been playing Sims4 for a while now and recently I've noticed that the mouse changes into my regular one in a particular part of my screen. It's usually on the right side, in the middle. It's caused me not to select options in that area while customizing sims. What can I do?
