Crashes when trying to load saved world

I was playing earlier, and I built a house in my neighbourhood, while I was decorating it, I saved my game and about 5 minutes later the game white screened and crashed. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I closed it with the task manager.

I just started it up again, and went to play my saved family, and the game crashed, and a Windows error window popped up saying the program has stopped working, and forced it to close.

I tried to play as a different family in the neighbourhood, and I got the same problem, game crashed, Windows error.
