Conservation work from home snorkel task isn't working [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.52.100.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Vampires and Spooky Stuff
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Conservationist work from home assignment “snorkel in Mua Pel’am” does not show as complete after snorkelling.
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing. My sim is able to snorkel as normal, but the assignment does not register as completed.
What do you expect to see? The task completed and not still showing as 0/1
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I have taken my sim to the island on multiple occasions, with and without fellow travellers. The snorkel interaction completes successfully and I get a notification that “swimming around and surveying proved very fruitful. Sim was able to record some important research data to study.” But his boss is disappointed that he didn’t complete his task.

It seems a lot of the newer work at home type careers are assigning tasks above job level. 

For instance your Sim may be at level 3 of a career but the task is not available until level 4 is reached. 

If there is more than one task complete the one available. Then do other tasks that relate to that career. Hopefully this will boost career performance and put you at the correct level soon.

Mine is not working either and i have repaired the client twice!!!

Repaired and deleted the cache twice and same problem here.

As explained above, this task requires a proper level of career. After promotion, this problem will disappear. Just like in a scientist's career. He sometimes gets a task that he can't do at this level of career. However, in the scientist's' career there is a greater choice of tasks to be done. Here you have only two. If the game doesn't want to approve one of these tasks now - just wait for the promotion

I am currently having this problem and my sim is level 9 in the career and it still doesn't count.

Me too, except my sim is a level 7.
