Up until recently (I have most packs except for: whatever sound like Muqostio pack, My First Pets Pack, Strangerville GP, .. Tiny Living, I am planning on getting DU at some point)- I was able to play my game with no problems.. but now - (I can't tell you when it started but before April 20th but after Tiny living I think) my game keeps freezing the computer (can't do anything, mouse, the normal ALT+ CTRL+Del, key shorcut) and then the monitor falls asleep on me and its driving me nuts. At first I thought it was my mods- but I just tried playing it with out my Mods- and the computer frozen and then "went to sleep" on me when I was trying to do something in-game. It doesn't matter how much or little I play the game- but the result is always the same.
I'm playing the game on a Desktop PC
As far as I know everything with my RAM/Video card graphic is up to date. I included the Dxdiag txt file.
I really want to be able to play Sims 4 since I have a SimLit I need to write.
@Madamelee There are a number of failed Windows updates and other Windows-related errors that may have nothing to do with Sims 4, although it's difficult to tell sometimes. Please start by running some basic checks on your Windows system files. Here's how:
Restart your computer, and manually run any Windows update. Open Settings, then Update & Security, and click the button to check for updates. If there are a number pending, it may take a few tries, with restarts in between, to get them all to run.
When the updates have all run, restart again, then play until you see another problem, run another dxdiag, and attach it to a reply.

on my previous thread https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Computer-freezing-and-then-falling-alseep-when-playing... (Which for some reason I can't reply too).. @puzzlezaddict suggested I use the DISM "restore health" command prompt which i did.. and now I got
"restore operation completed successfully. The component store corruption was repaired."
I'm in the middle of dorng Step 2 they suggested I do after I do the first one
finished step 2 no errors:
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations
@puzzlezaddict I only played today after updating the Windows and the computer freezed again. But this time it might have something to do with humbitiy so I included the dixdiag in the file
@Madamelee I merged your new post into your old thread, so everything is in one place. Have you manually run all pending Windows updates? You don't need to update to Windows 10, but it's a good idea to manually check for updates as I described before.
Once you've done so, please restart your computer and try playing Sims 4 again. If you get another freeze or your computer falls asleep again, please restart if necessary, then run another dxdiag right away, and attach it to a post.

Yesterday I played for the first time after I did the stuff you suggested and in the middle of doing something and the computer freezes again and I had to do an emergency shut-off I think it might have to do with the humidity of yesterday. I'm going to be testing Geforce experience after I reinstall it to see if that might help any. So installing the Geforce might take some time in order to get it done. 1st dixdiag is from yesterday
note: since for some reason I can't use Geforce experience (since it asks me to activited my base game again in order to run Geforce but origin says code not vaild from my *legal copy of the game)- I tried to have the options in-game be the same as the options in the geforce and just as I was saving my game the game did the freezing thing
It might be the humility between yesterday and today
This kind of a reason which is why I originally started playing in window 32mode both *before* and after I had mods. I have a different thread from last year or so... and someone was very rude about me having this problem.

@Madamelee I don't know what happened in the other thread, but as long as you're willing to troubleshoot, I'll keep trying to help. I don't think GeForce Experience is going to improve things though. Most of what it does for a game like Sims 4 is just choose your graphics settings for you. But you can easily set them manually instead. I saw you made a separate thread about GFE, which I moved to the Sims 4 forum because some other people here have tried to troubleshoot the same issue before, so hopefully one of them will have an idea.
If you want to check how your computer's hardware is running, that would be a good next step. The humidity may or may not have an effect; the heat is more likely to be a problem, but both can contribute.
Please download hwinfo (for free) from here:
You can choose to install the full version (under Installer) if you want, and be sure to click the green button, not the orange one. Or, if you'd prefer not to install anything, download the portable version instead. You can unzip it and launch it from Downloads or wherever you want to keep it.
Restart your computer, open hwinfo, choose "sensors only," and click the icon that's a sheet of paper with a + sign to start logging. When you're asked where to save the log, choose your desktop, so it's easy to find later. Wait five minutes, then open Origin and Sims 4, but don't run anything else at all on your computer. Play for at least 20 minutes (more if you want) or until the game freezes or your computer goes to sleep. Even if you have to restart your computer, the log file will still be intact up to that point. If you don't have any issues, you can end logging by clicking the same icon as before.
Upload the hwinfo log to a third-party filehosting site, and link it here. Please leave it in .csv format, otherwise my log reader may not be able to open it. I'll take a look and see if there are any obvious problems.

I think I did what you asked me too and I so I don't know if it worked or not. It just I only started having this problem in May I didn't have this problem in April and it only been humid this week
here's the link to the file
@puzzlezaddict I think I made it public this time.
I have two things to test-an older save I had saved back before I had this problem and testing the settings of Sims 4. I'm going to see if I can play with Sims 4 with different settings..I just unchecked something which i had forgotten about before
@Madamelee I don't have permission to view that file. Please change the permission so that it's public, at least temporarily, or use a different filesharing service.

I think this is today's log from the thing. i was playing my game for 13:16 seconds when the game made the computer freeze. I checked to make sure this link is public
this one is from yesterday
but I notice this is what it says in the notepad
edited to add spoiler tag for readability. -puzzlezaddict
@Madamelee I can see both logs now, but they're way too short. Please play for at least 20 minutes, unless your computer freezes first. And again, please start logging and then wait five minutes before launching Origin and Sims 4.
