Commands failing

Hi I am having trouble in my game. Whenever I play with 2/5 of the sims in my save file they will not take commands. The commands will just cancel out without me doing it. How do I fix it? I tried the one where you have everyone travel and it didn't work.

@Maddi90210  Try playing with a different household for a bit, then switch back.  After you initially switch households, use "save as" to rename the save, so your original save remains intact as a backup.  Play the other household for a couple sim-hours, save your progress, quit, reload the new save, and switch back to the original household.

I tried that I also tried starting a new game file with the same family and reinstalling sims as a whole and no dice

@Maddi90210  When you say you started "a new game file," do you mean you saved the sims to your library (or the Gallery) and placed them in a new save?  Or did you do something else, and if so, what?
