Click play on Sims 4, and then it goes back to the origin launcher

so whenever i click that orange button on Sims 4 that says “play” or “start” or whatever it is, the origin launcher will disappear for a split second as if it was loading up the Sims, and then the launcher opens again as if nothing happened. Sims doesn’t load, nothing. I click that repair button in the settings, and tried again and the same thing happened

@egirlkale  Are you playing in Windows or mac OS?  This is the TS3 section, but I can move your post to TS4 tech or Sims/mac for you instead.  (People post in the wrong sections all the time, so don't worry about it.)
