Cats and dogs glitch bug [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Dogs and cats, get to work, city living, outdoor retreat, dine out, parenthood, movie hangout, kids room, backyard, and toddler.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure how to answer this... ive personally tried everything i could think of on my own and with the help of google.
What happens when the bug occurs? What happens when the bug occurs? Glitch glitch glitch.... glitch. My game is unfortunately experiencing many issues. My sims won’t eat, everytime they go to do so the food ends up on the floor. Children arent able to do homework and at many times are able to do certain things (write in journal, sleep in bed, go on toilet) and other times they can’t because they have a thought bubble telling them theres something in the way.. when there isnt. Pet interactions are few and far between. After many attempts, the only way to “show love on the couch” is by sitting on the couch first, calling cat over, petting, THEN being able to do the interaction. Giving pets bath is completely out the window it wont even attempt to try, even after “resetting” sim and pet. Tried moving the tub in a wide open area, no change. No matter the choice of length of walks with dog, it is extremely long and i eventually have to cancel the walk otherwise itll last all night lol. After getting a preventive shot at the vet one of the pets now is constantly scared and has a lampshade over a guys head thought bubble and always whines. Dogs and cats somehow appear inside the dining room table as they sleep. The list goes on and on. Ive repaired the game, updated all of my DLC’s, tried removing CC couches as per someones suggestion.. nothing helps. Everytime i start the game theres different glitches to go based off of and Im sick of cheating and would love to know how to fix this! Also yes, i have CC and tried removing that as well and that didnt do the trick either
What do you expect to see? All the glitches to be removed please! Ive watched all the live videos on the pets expansion and was ABSOLUTELY THRILLED IT CAME OUT! This is actually my birthday present and now since ive downloaded it my games been nothing but issues and thoughts of throwing my laptop out lol. Jk. Not really though.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. .There was an update about an hour before pets came available (since i preordered it) and after it downloaded i started playing. Not 100% sure if its the update or pets expansion.

 Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.

After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.

Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.

• Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
• Tray Folder
• Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
• Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave)
• Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
• Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)

The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.

So I did everything you suggested.. and when i got back to my played household my 2 adult sims were actually standing in the bed awkwardly and same issues as before. Ended up turning off mods again and it works.... but now all my mods arent showing and its really depressing have any other suggestions? I have MCC downloaded.. not sure if thats the issue.

Did you update the mod ?

The list is not complete so there might be other mods causing issues.

You must update or remove incompatible mods or you will run into issues

I moved this to the tech forum for now as it seems a mod issue
