@to7m Some are not distinct anymore if you just use the short version of the career name. There can be conflicts with the freelancer career.

Thank you for the information.. I am having issues with the Military-  career.promote military cheat not working,... it's worked in the past and not now... all my sim's skills are maxed so there really is no reason I should not be able to promote... very frustrating... have you any information on that career track?? Thank you!!

@Angelaw1972 Let me know if it works.

Usually you only need to use the full name if there's anything else that uses a similar tag and I'm not sure anything else would conflict with Military but you never know.
