Cant play no update no notification

i cant play the sims 4 because it says i need to update the newest version of origin but when i go on origin it doesnt come up with ANY notification about updates so i cant play and its REALLY annoying me

Could you give updating and repairing the game a try? Right-click the game in Origin and choose 'Update Game' and 'Repair'.
