Cant place objects

When i go in to build mode i cant place anything other than walls. Everything i click does not seem to react to anything i have try restarting the game mulitple times

@veronicasm354  Try removing the Better Build/Buy mod, if you have it; delete localthumbcache.package as well.  If that doesn't help, remove the entire Mods folder, delete localthumbcache (again) and test.
