Cannot download purchased items into sims 3 game launcher [ Edited ]

I cannot download purchased items into sims 3 game launcher. It says they have been downloaded on the sims 3 store, but when i go into 'downloads' on the sims 3 game launcher they do not show up. I can't find them anywhere in the game either. Can anyone help me please?
