I used Origin's command line argument section in the Sims 4 Properties section to disable some DLC for a time.
I have since cleared the command line arguments from Origin but the arguments are still there if I use the EXE file or a shortcut to launch the game. If I launch it from Origin, it works just fine.
The reason that this is a problem is I have been playing with the Multiplayer Mod and it launches the game for you, which requires you to use the EXE as opposed to Origin. I'm not sure which file Origin is using, but it is not letting me remove these stupid arguments.
I've uninstalled the game, ran CC cleaner to remove all of the registry sections from the Sims 4 as well as manually searched all folders for anything Sims related and deleted it, then installed again and it is still there. I don't understand how that's possible.

@memtndude Try clearing Origin's cache and installing it (not Sims 4, just Origin) "the hard way." I'm not sure where the command line argument info is stored, but this should clear it out.

Thank you so much. That worked.
